Capable: How to Teach Your Kids the Strengths, Skills, and Strategies to Build Resilience
Young Couples, Married Couples, All Adults Welcome, Families

Amanda Chong, Eddie Chong, Evan Dial, Brittney Dial

Join us each Sunday night while we go through Sissy Goff and David Thomas's newest book, "Capable: How to Teach Your Kids the Strengths, Skills, and Strategies to Build Resilience". We will meet for one hour to discuss chapter readings and discover evidence-based insight and practical guidance to equip us to nurture capability—the internalized belief that a child can face adversity, navigate challenges, manage stress, and build confidence in who they are and who God has made them to be.

We will have a Sign Up Genius for people to pitch in to provide dinner each evening.

The planned meeting schedule and reading timeline can be viewed here.

Books are available via Amazon (https://amzn.to/4zqogAm) or your preferred book retailer.

- Childcare is available for $5/child per meeting (with a cap of $15/family per day). Please bring cash or make checks out to Building Church with "Life Group Childcare" in the memo line. We will also have a digital QR code payment option available at drop off. Please let us know how many children you plan to bring and their ages so we can arrange the appropriate childcare.

- Families utilizing childcare are asked to have at least one adult volunteer for one night during the life group semester. Volunteers will serve in the childcare area alongside our normal team to provide childcare to group attendees (free childcare for your family on volunteer night). Background checks are required for adults who volunteer with the children's ministry.
